The Association AWS Outdoor Advertising Switzerland (hereinafter "AWS" or "we") is committed to an open and transparent approach to data protection. We comply with data protection legislation and endeavour to handle personal data with care. This privacy policy informs you how we handle personal data.

We collect your personal data whenever there is contact with you, this may be online or in day-to-day, face-to-face contact. For example, we collect your personal data in the following circumstances:

The personal information collected is as varied as the circumstances in which we collect the information, such as:

Deletion of cookies and surfing history

Similarly, data on your behaviour can only be collected to a limited extent or not at all.

Third Party Services

We use the services of various service providers and partners (third parties), which means that your data may also be processed by these companies. We require third parties to treat the personal data they receive in accordance with the AWS data protection declaration.  In particular, we use the services of Google Inc. on our websites. We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. as a tracking system. You can find further information on Google Analytics at support.google.com/analytics.

To protect your orders via Internet forms, we use, among other things, the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. The query serves to distinguish whether the input is made by a human being or abusively by automated, machine processing. Furthermore, the online services of AWS may contain links to websites of third parties. AWS makes no representation or warranty regarding such websites. It is to be assumed that the owners and operators of such third-party websites may collect, use or disclose personal data under different conditions than AWS. Rights in relation to personal data

You can exercise your data protection rights at any time. You have the right to request information about what data is collected and processed about you. You can demand that it be corrected or deleted.

We ensure that personal data is protected against unauthorised processing by appropriate technical and organisational measures.

We are legally obliged to inform you of the owner of the data collection with your personal data. The owner of the data collection is AWS.

Passing on of Personal Data

We do not pass on personal data to third parties. This is subject to the proviso that the disclosure is required by law or ordered by a court decision.

Data will be retained for as long as is necessary to provide our services or as we are required to do by law.

Final Provisions

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this data protection declaration is Zurich. However, AWS shall be entitled to take legal action against you before the competent court at your place of residence or business or before any other competent court. The data protection declaration is subject to Swiss law. If there are any gaps in this data protection declaration or individual provisions are invalid or void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this data protection declaration. The invalid / void provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that is suitable to achieve the intended result as far as possible.

AWS expressly reserves the right to amend this data protection declaration. Changes will be published immediately on the website. If necessary, your consent to the changes will be obtained.
